The Progressive Media Project – Workshops
The Progressive Media Project, with the support of the BRICO Fund, is once again offering six FREE full day op-ed writing workshops this fall throughout WI:

Milwaukee Health Department – Ages & Stages Training
Location: MHD Northwest Health Center 7630 West Mill Road – Basement Auditorium
Time: 9:00 a.m.—4:00 p.m. (ASQ-3 in a.m. / ASQ:SE-2 in p.m.)
Fee: $30.00 (includes both tool sessions and lunch)
Registration Deadline: 12/3/2018
This ASQ -3/ASQ: SE 2 Ages and Stages Questionnaires are parent-completed development and social-emotional screeners for young children. Easy, reliable, and cost-effective, these screeners help determine if there are delays in key areas of a child’s development. This training offers materials developed by the Brookes Publishing Co. and is appropriate for health providers, social workers, home visitors, child care providers, teachers and agency staff that work with infants and small children.

Milwaukee Riverkeeper – The Future of Milwaukee’s Parks

The Senior Water Advocacy Network (“SWAN”) will host a lunch and learn about the financial viability of the Milwaukee County Parks. As you may know, the Milwaukee River Watershed is home to some of the most beautiful and treasured parks in Milwaukee County. The financial future of these beloved parks is in jeopardy and it’s time to take action to save ours parks from continued budget cuts.

Wisconsin Voices seeks a full-time Development Director to be responsible for managing all our revenue streams, including major funder grants and individual donors. Reporting to the Executive Director, this professional must be a great writer, communicator, strategic thinker, and is able to meet tight deadlines.
Our ideal candidate has a minimum of two years of fund development experience, preferably in the political or nonprofit fields. They should also be familiar with Microsoft and Google suite, and be comfortable asking people for money. Clear, concise, and persuasive writing skills are a must have.

Move to End Violence at The Raben Group is Hiring
The Move to End Violence team at The Raben Group is hiring a Program Coordinator! This person is the “experience creator” for the program. We highly rely on the relational and execution strengths of the Program Coordinator who is frequently in direct communication with our key program participants, consultants & faculty, and vendors, while driving projects and planning events. Applications are due in December with a January start.
